The SCL Team have been ready and waiting to get back to the salon, tackle your roots and serve your hair goals!

We have been working super hard in the back ground to ensure we fully comply with the government guidelines that allow us to reopen and operate in a way thats keeps you and us safe!

The health and wellbeing of our clients and the SCL team is of the upmost importance. While we all deal with the effects of coronavirus, I wanted to let you know what precautions we are taking as a company; as this will affect any upcoming appointments.

Please be reassured that our Salon has elevated their already high standards of hygiene, incorporating additional deep cleaning, disinfecting procedures and frequency. As always, we thoroughly clean the salon. We’re paying extra attention to all surfaces such as door handles, bathrooms and stylist stations; all of which are cleaned every morning, throughout the day and at night.

All of our team have had detailed training on how to operate once we reopen to maintain safety.


We ask that you wear a mask during your time at SCL, we will of course be providing them, we would hate to get colour on your personal ones.

All guest will be temperature checked on arrival, if you do arrive with a temperature we will not be able to carry out your service and will contact you to reschedule. SCL team members will also be temperature checked upon arrival, if any of our team arrive with a temperature they will be sent home and clients contacted to reschedule effected bookings.

You’ll be issued your own Samantha Cusick London Hand sanitiser on arrival. Sanitiser will also be available throughout the salon at every touch point.

We kindly ask that you only bring what you need to the salon. We will provide you with a storage bag to place your things in, to avoid contact with anybody else's things. We will be unable to store shopping bags, suitcases etc so please do not bring them.

Waiting areas are not going to be in use in the salon so we can observe social distancing guidelines where ever possible. This means we need you to arrive at the salon at the time of your appointment, if you are early please feel free to wait outside the salon or in the local area. If you are running late to your appointment please call ahead so we can try our best to accommodate, but please be aware that me may have to reschedule your booking and you could be charged for your appointment.

If your stylist is running behind with appointments then we will call you straight away so you can wait in the local area.

You’ll be given a freshly laundered gown to wear throughout your appointment, these are thoroughly washed after every client as always.

As we have to limit the number of people in the salon we ask that you do not bring any children, friends or family members with you to your appointment. If you do require a chaperone please let us know in advance so we can see if this will be a possibility.


It wouldn’t be SCL without our wonderful drink offerings, so we will continue to serve our delicious menu of drinks, from glittering coffees to candy floss cocktails! We have swapped out all of our glassware for disposables, straws will be provided so you can enjoy your drink whilst wearing your mask.

You’ll also notice that towels in the Salon have been replaced by single use items. COVID has given us an opportunity to accelerate our sustainability plan, by switching to 100% recyclable (single use) towels. These towels will replace our reusable regular cotton items, therefore reducing our environmental impact on manufacture, washing and drying of our current ones! We may retain a few cotton items, but given the climate we felt now was the best time to make the switch!

It goes with out saying that all of our tools and work stations will be throughly wiped down and disinfected between every client, Our amazing team are ensuring hygiene is a priority when in the salon, so please don’t be offended if you see us cleaning items prior to or after you sit at a section. Cleaning of things like hairdressing tools, basins and additional items needed for your service are all being cleaned between clients.

We ask that when possible you use a contactless form of payment like apple pay or google pay at the end of your service as they are not capped at £35 like contactless card payments.
